Having Susanne plan, organise and officiate our wedding was the best decision we could have made!

From the first meeting via WhatsApp video call from Germany to the personal meeting in New Zealand, all meetings and conversations were very warm, open and clear right from the start.

Apart from filling in our personal details and answering questions about the wedding speech and wishes for the wedding ceremony, we didn't have to worry about anything.
Susanne is a very reliable, caring and warm-hearted person and we couldn't have imagined our entire wedding day to be more beautiful.

We got married on a beach she suggested, Pauanui Beach. It was a dream!
As we got married without our family, Susanne had organised two witnesses and a photographer as well. These 3 people were also delightful and very warm, as if we had known each other before.
Susanne had suggested typical New Zealand wedding rituals for us to choose from. Our personal preparation for this was so intense. We will never forget it.
The entire path to the beach from the car park across the meadows and dunes was lovingly decorated for us with lots of delightful details and the actual wedding venue on the beach was just amazing!

The atmosphere on our wedding day was simply magical. The set-up at Shakespeare Cliff was exactly as we had always dreamed: just the two of us, feeling completely at one with the spectacular nature of New Zealand. Everything felt calm and light, yet deeply emotional at the same time.

The carefully chosen witnesses, the wonderful photographer and videographer, and the beautiful ceremony itself made this moment perfect for us and preserved it forever.

This unforgettable experience was completed by our overnight stay in the cottage on Suse’s farm, Pauanui Farm – Idyllic Hideaway. A true sanctuary to arrive, breathe, and simply be. Peacefully located and surrounded by stunning scenery, the apartment was beautiful, perfectly equipped, and immaculately clean. The view was simply breathtaking and added the most wonderful finishing touch to this very special occasion.

For us, this wedding was not just a ceremony — it was a heartfelt moment more beautiful than we could ever have imagined.

Suse officiated our wedding ceremony at the Waterlily Gardens in Waihi. My husband is New Zealander and I am German, so we asked for a bilingual ceremony and what can we say - it was just perfect!

It's not an easy job to hold the ceremony in two different languages and still get all the emotions across, but Suse did it beautifully, emotionally and with great sensitivity.

Even beforehand, Suse took so much time to get to know us and our love story and put so much effort into the preparation. Her work does not end with the crafting of the wedding ceremony, she is a contact person and supporter through and through.

Friends and family have said that Suse was not only a wonderful wedding celebrant, but it felt like she was a friend who had known us for a long time.

Our dream of getting married on the wild and remote Turakina Beach on New Zealand’s west coast has come true.
