Hello, I am Suse

I grew up near Hamburg in Germany and have always loved travelling and connecting with people from all walks of life. Over the years, I have lived and worked in Germany, New Zealand, France and England, gaining experience in publishing houses, public relations agencies and hotels, as well as working as a flight attendant for Lufthansa and as a Pilates instructor. Twelve years ago, I met my husband Roddy while travelling through New Zealand and immigrated to beautiful Aotearoa. We were married in a personalised wedding ceremony on our small farm in Hikuai on the Coromandel Peninsula. The relaxed outdoor atmosphere and the loving and flexible design of our wedding ceremony made it a perfect day for us. I love living on our farm with our animals, surrounded by beautiful nature, and feel happiest outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, gardening, watching our son surf, or raising our cows.


For many years I have been part of the wedding world, beginning my journey as a wedding planner for small, intimate elopements. Guided by my passion, I became a marriage celebrant and have the absolute joy of bringing each couple’s unique vision to life on one of the most special days of their lives. I can’t wait to hear yours!
